This drip-catcher is knitted in the round with 3 mm needles and some scraps of yarn. You will use it for your teapot or you coffee-pot.
Make several to change them, wash them or even thrown them out when they look to bad.

It is knitted flat and the knitting is easy, but the finishing, as usual with the toys might be a bit tedious. The head and the tail can be knitted in the round.
The “fur look” is given by brushing the knitted pieces before to attach them together.

Very easy to make and to memorize, it grows faster and has not right and wrong side. Row 1: knit 1, purl 3Row 5: knit 2, *purl 1, knit 3*, repeat from * to *.Rows 2, 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8: knit the knit stitches and purl the purl stitches.

Material: 100 grammes of fingering yarn, 3.5 mm needles and a tapestry needle to weave the ends.

The idea: you cut a plastic straw to the size you want.
You cast on some stitches and you knit in the round. At least, you knit around the straw itself.
