Finished! - [Magic Needles]

Less that two hours including the finishing by hands for this blue top. No pattern but a “bat” shape [1] for the sleeves and just two seaming on the sides.

The pocket is a remnant of the pareo (under the sleeves) and the cowl is made with the plain border with fringes.

Till an excellent pattern by Phoeny.

As usual, the pattern is for a flat knit. But I knitted in the round the legs and the body. Also, she asks to wrap the chenille-arms with the yarn, I made tubes : 6 stitches and about 30 rows instead for neater result.

Whand I saw the pattern on Ravelry, I immediately queued it. But... I hate to knit black yarn, that is why it took me that time (I queued it in 2012) to make this little guy. Then I discovered that sewing in black was worse than to knit.

Ages ago, I drawn a pattern for a flat sock. I had to make it to verify if I was right and if the toe that I was thinking was the right toe for this kind of sock. It is! Yeah. Also I designed an excavator and did the chart and, obviously, I absolutely had to use the chart.
