The purple flying squirrel

A small flying squirrel easy ot knit.

SPIP is my favourite CMS préféré (link in French) whose mascot is a flying squirrel. It is also the name of the pretty grumpy squirrel of the Franco-Belgian comics Spirou (Éditions Dupuis).

It is knitted flat and the knitting is easy, but the finishing, as usual with the toys might be a bit tedious. The head and the tail can be knitted in the round.

The “fur look” is given by brushing the knitted pieces before to attach them together.
