It was designed and partially used for the temperature scarf (link in French).

The numbers are knitted on 3 stitches and 5 rows. The letters are knitted between 1 stitch (letter I) and 5 stitches (M and W) and 5 rows. You can make them separately (first chart) or like a panel.

You also may use these letters with a crochet hook.
